01Who we are

This website (lfdesign.gr) is operated by Eleftherios (Lefteris) Fotopoulos, trading as LF Design, Athens, Greece, who is the data controller for the personal data processed through it.

02Our approach, in short

This website has no contact forms, no visitor accounts, no analytics and no advertising or tracking cookies. We only process the minimum data needed to show you the site, keep it secure and reply when you contact us. We never sell, rent or share your personal data for marketing purposes.

03When you contact us

If you email, call or message us (including via WhatsApp or Viber), we receive the details you choose to share — for example your name, email address, phone number and the content of your message.

• We use them only to reply, prepare a quote and, if we work together, to deliver the project.
• Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• We keep this correspondence for as long as needed for these purposes and to meet our legal (e.g. tax and accounting) obligations.

WhatsApp and Viber are third-party services that process data under their own privacy policies.

04Technical data and server logs

Like every website, our hosting server automatically records technical data when you visit: IP address, date and time, the page requested, and browser and device type. These logs are used solely to keep the website secure and working, and are retained only for a short period by our hosting provider (legal basis: legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

To protect the administration area, after failed login attempts the site temporarily stores an anonymised (hashed) form of the IP address for 15 minutes.

05Cookies and local storage

We do not use analytics, marketing or tracking cookies, which is why this site does not show a cookie consent banner.

• The site stores a single technical flag in your browser’s session storage to remember that you have already seen the intro animation. It contains no personal data and is deleted when you close the tab.
• WordPress sets cookies only for logged-in site administrators.

06Third-party services

To display fonts and animations, your browser loads files from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd.) and the public content delivery networks cdnjs.cloudflare.com and unpkg.com. When this happens, your IP address and browser information are transmitted to these providers so that they can deliver the files (legal basis: our legitimate interest in a fast, well-presented website, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Some of these providers may process data outside the EU under appropriate safeguards, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Our portfolio links to our clients’ websites. Those are independent third-party sites with their own privacy policies.

07Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email info@lfdesign.gr — we will reply within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).

08Security

All traffic between your browser and this website is encrypted over HTTPS. We keep the website software up to date and restrict administrative access to protect any data we process.

09Children

This website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
